Merry Christmas!

I know it's been awhile since I have written a post, or even put pictures up, life is crazy busy, so I am extremely excited to slow down this holiday, to spend with family and friends. This last month, we were able to go to our Tree Farm, just outside of town and take some pictures! I LOVE how these turned out, and how they captured Ember's personality. The life of a photographer means, you put on the 10 second timer and.. RUN.. over and over again ;) Well worth it. With all that said, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Little Miss Ember is 1 TODAY!

Oh my goodness where has the time gone? I know everyone says that time goes by fast, and that is so true. I can’t believe it’s been a year already since this little girl came into this world. I have been thinking all day about what to write for this blog post, because it’s such a special day. Maybe I am thinking about it to much, because even as I write, I still have no idea what to write. There are so many things that I want to say, about who this precious girl is and how much she means to me and how she has grown herself, but how she has grown her Momma too.

There is a saying “ A picture is worth a thousand words” which is true.  When I get to capture little Ember with my photography, whether it’s phone or my professional camera, you can see her personality in every picture, and her personality is a lot like her Momma’s.  Its is so fun and exciting to see some of those traits in her, and then there are the “ oh crap” traits that she has of mine, where I just say, “sorry kid” :)

This little girl  is amazing and incredible. She will smile and talk to anyone she sees (she gets that from her Great Grandma Fager), unless she is tired or teething, but can ya then blame her ? ;) She is outgoing, and doesn’ like missing out on things, and I can already tell she  has such a kind, giving heart. This girl, is amazing, and I’m so glad that God gave her to us. I know that she is HIS first and foremost, and so I pray daily for the strength and endurance to help her grow up into a woman after God’s own heart, to follow Him with all of her heart, soul, mind, and strength, to love God first, and then to love others as God has called us to love. It’s going to be tough raising her up in this world, but I know with God’s strength and guidance, she will move mountains, and change the world around her. She has a purpose, and I can’t wait to see it all unfold as God grants me the gift each year of being her Momma.

I could keep gong on and on, (as most parent’s do about their kids) but I figure I won’t bore you and instead, I’ll just show you some 1 yr old pictures of little miss Ember Mae, because let’s be honest, that’s the REAL reason you came to read this blog anyway ;)
