I’m going to be honest with you all right now, I am not a big fan of the color pink. For those of you who know me, this statement does not come as a shock to you. So, when I found out that I was having a baby girl, I tried to think of all the colors I could put her in besides pink.
After 10 months of having a little girl in my world, I now realize pink isn’t as bad of a color as I thought. Plus, lets be honest, you can dress a baby girl in anything, all you need to do is add a bow (which I also have come to purchase lots of). Now, ask me why I don’t like the color pink, and I wouldn’t be able to tell you. Maybe, it's because I’m more of a natural/neural colored person, I have no idea, but that’s just my crazy theory, and I'm sticking to it.
So, needless to say, I have come to terms with the color pink, and it was silly to not like it in the first place, (did I mention that I can be stubborn at times for no reason?... oops!) With all that being said, the other day I tried to do the “Creative Mom” thing, and get Ember to try and paint a pumpkin, “try” being the key word here. So, we went and bought paint (PINK paint as a matter of fact), a pumpkin, and stripped down to diapers for a great fun, creative, experience. It was definitely an experience all right. I was thinking that Ember was going to go to town, get her hands dirty, and paint the pumpkin, however, she ended up being not so sure about the pumpkin, and instead ended up painting her stomach.
Oh this girl, is very creative indeed! I love her to death.
Ember's "scrunch her nose, and smile" face, one of my favorites.
Also, excuse the snot nose, we are teething, and no matter how many times I wipe this girls nose, it's a endless waterfall that just keeps coming. I know other Mom's will relate!
