It's been awhile since I have posted something other than Photography and today I wanted to share with you all something amazing that I found. For those who don't know me, other than Photography, my passion in life is a God and Students. I am an assistant youth pastor and I absolutely LOVE my job! With being a youth pastor, I have many kids who I pour myself into. Teaching them about Christ and what it means to be a disciple, going to all of their school activities, sometimes being the driver that takes and picks students up for and from events, spending time with them outside of church and their school activities.... And I'm not even a mom yet haha.

Sometimes life can get so busy that we forget to really take that time to dig deep into Gods word and feed ourselves. One important thing I have learned from being in youth ministry and being a Christian is that you can't pour into others if you are running on Empty. In order to help and speak into other peoples lives, you yourself have to be getting filled.

As I was browsing he Internet other day I came across this website called
"goodmorninggirls.org"

I started looking at it and was completely excited that this is up and available and better yet it is FREE!!

It's a website made by ladies who have a passion for sharing the Gospel & a desire to pour into other women around the world. They offer bible studies that you can be apart of online. You can either join a group online, or form your own group with people that you know, and just meet and go through the study together when you meet. You can even do it on your own if you would like.

This group of ladies just finished a 8 week devotional series called "loving like Jesus" and are starting a new one from Nov 11-22.

I am so excited to start this Bible study. The best thing is that the previous bible studies they have had, you can do them anytime. They have many studies still available that you can go through on your own.

The great thing about this bible study is that they provide everything for you, they even tell you how to go even deeper into scripture by doing S.O.A.P. ( their website tells you what that means) it has helped me so much in my take aways from scripture.

They give you notes, Devo's, reading plans, bible verses and more.

I didn't write this as a advertisement for them, just something awesome that I came across and wanted to share with you all. I am always looking for ways to fill myself with scripture and what better way than to do that alongside other women of God.

I had the opportunity to take family pictures of this awesome family the other evening. The two kids (Karissa & Eric) are two of my youth, so it was great being able to invest even more into their lives and family by taking pictures that they can look back on for years to come. It was a great evening, and the lighting was amazing. They were troopers too as we were walking around finding different areas to take pictures. It was just so fun being able to hang out with them. During our photo session Eric found a stick that became "part of the family" and so he carried it around with him as we continued to take pictures. Because the stick became attached to Eric I decided that toward the end of our time together we needed to get a picture with the "new addition" to the Stockham family,so we took a picture that involved the stick (not sure if the stick made it in the van to go home or not) haha.
